Amsterdam are very universal and high quality acrylic paints. They are available in many colours with different level of covering: transparent, semi-transparent, semi-opaque, opaque. They contain no heavy metals. The base of Royal Talens Amsterdam Acrylics is a 100% acrylic resin. This ensures the exceptional durability of the paint film and also makes it the best choice for outdoor murals. It can be painted on any grease-free surface: paper, card, wood, hardboard, concrete, chipboard, plaster, etc. Amsterdam Acrylic has a slightly thin consistency and errors are easily corrected. For this reason they are also good for transparent techniques. They are easy to dilute with water and their high quality pigments give them a high level of lightfastness. Amsterdam matalics can be combined perfectly with the other colours of the Amsterdam.
